“I have a wealth of experience and a fantastic reputation within private hearing care. Having spent the last 8 years as a senior audiologist with a leading High Street chain, I became increasingly disillusioned with the volume driven process and imposition of targets and decided that a change was required. This decision led to me establishing myself as an independent audiology practitioner.
I am well known for my friendly, relaxed, yet professional manner and I believe I have been extremely well respected by my colleagues and patients throughout my career. After qualification, I quickly became responsible for a team of audiologists ensuring that my knowledge and experience was passed on to my team members and colleagues alike.
I am a firm believer in that fact that audiology is not an “exact science” and over the years I have become acutely aware that each patient has different needs and responds to amplification differently.
I love having the time with each patient now to truly practice this ethos as I’ve always said, small things in audiology can make huge differences to the patient’s overall satisfaction.”

In partnership with Peter James chemist in Retford, Alan can see you either within a consulting room at the chemist itself* or on a home visit basis.
